That's ironical, how some people have their entire lives spent on these riversides. These children may never know whats on the sides and beyond that, but we may never see a blink of dissatisfaction in their contempted faces I suppose, their only dependency being the waters. Lovely pictures ❤️

A Dayal says,
Assam's main lifeline, the Brahmaputra river, braided nature created numerous sand bars and islands known as chars/ sapories. They are home to more than 3 million people. Over 90% of the cultivated land on the river islands is flood-prone; the flood leaves the islands completely separated from mainland, preventing access to health infrastructure and services. Nicely pictorial depiction of river island of Brahmaputra. Every picture speaks a lot itself. A great art work. Best wishes.
Col Austin Collaco says,
A story of a river. The pictures dipict a simple way of life of common people. The river is a source of livelyhood, we must respect it and not exploit.
